Download size is not installation space: plan before patching
Account for the archive, extracted launcher, separate game output and recovery files before starting a localization install.

A localization download can be much smaller than the separate game copy produced during installation. The number beside a download button is the transferred file size, not a promise of total storage use. Do not delete your original just to make an installation fit.
List every storage component
- The downloaded archive, if you intend to keep it.
- The extracted launcher and its supporting files.
- The separate Arabic output on your chosen drive.
- Temporary files, recovery copies and installation records required by the package.
- Any optional add-ons and their separate requirements.
An illustrative calculation
For arithmetic only, imagine a 0.3 GB archive, a 0.5 GB extracted folder, a 4 GB output and 1 GB of recovery files. That totals 5.8 GB before temporary-file headroom. These are teaching figures, not measured B52 package or game sizes. Replace them with your actual file sizes and release requirements.
Check the right drives
Downloads, the output folder and Windows temporary storage may be on different drives. Free space on the destination alone does not establish that every location has enough capacity. Review Windows storage settings and confirm the destination shown by the launcher before proceeding.
Optional HD needs its own allowance
HD is optional, not a requirement for the core Arabic text. Check its extracted size, exact source-pack dependency and recovery requirements. Storage figures on the Prisoner of War page apply to that package; do not reuse them for Ratatouille or Origins.
If space runs out mid-installation
Do not assume that a partial output is playable. Keep the error and installation record, then follow the package’s failure or restoration procedure. If you need to move personal files, copy and verify them first instead of deleting folders at random and attempting to resume an uncertain operation.
